November 2005 on Lexington Reservoir in Los Gatos

Mary is on the dock waiting for me to return from parking the car. There were several groups of paddlers pulling their boats out of the water as we launched. You'll see at the end of this sequence that the dock was deserted when we returned.

The camera really used an interesting setting as I returned to the dock after parking the car. In the lower corner is a dog who was playing in and out of the water with his owner.  

I just like the play of the sun on the camera lens as Mary paddles towards the main reservoir.  

We found this little side channel and as we turned back to the sun I snapped this picture.  

We paddled into the sun and I managed to get these two shots over the length of the lake.  

As we paddled away from the dock area and towards the length of the reservoir, the sun was just perfect over the Santa Cruz mountains.  

I didn't realize when I took this, but this reminds me of "On Golden Pond." 

At the end of our trip on Lexington Reservoir as I walked to get the car. A beautiful November day!  

Wailea Four Seasons on Maui, 2005

Mary on the beach. The favorite line at the Four Seasons is "May I spritz you?" When you say yes, they use Evian as the water. Nice...

My Pentax WP and I were just off the point on the south end of the Four Season's property and we ran into two turtles. This one swam along side of me for a bit and I managed to get a great shot.  

Again, my underwater camera and a short swim off the point in front of the Four Seasons.  

Coral. Beautiful.  

Snorkling with my Optio allowed me to capture this guy. The problem is taking pictures with a snorkle mask on...you can't actually frame what you are shooting. This is a crop out of a much larger picture.  

My Pentax underwater camera caught this bright yellow whatever. I really need to look up the species on this.  

Sitting on the beach on Maui. Its just so nice.  

Sunset from the main bar at the Four Season's Wailea, Maui. The sun is actually behind the building but the view is spectacular anyway.
